SHILLONG: It was the official vehicle of Parliamentary secretary incharge of Taxation, Lamboklang Mylliem that was misused by his nephew identified as Steve C Chyne (20), a resident of Mawlai Nonglum. Chyne was seen driving the VIP vehicle (ML 05-F-8888) in the heart of the city on Monday. Chyne, a student of Seven Set School, was detained by police on Tuesday afternoon soon after a complaint was lodged.
A non-FIR case was registered against him under section 180 and 184 of the Motor Vehicle Act.
