On Oct 24 at about 5 am, miscreant(s) stole a Bolero Camper (ML-05K-5028) from the residence of Bapyntngen L Nongbri at Mawiong Umjapung, Shillong.
Murder case
On October 24, police arrested one Josen D Shira in connection with a murder case under Songsak PS.
Assault case
One Aibianghun Kharbani lodged a complaint at Nongstoin PS that on October 23 around 6 am, Kresensia Lyngkhoi attacked her tenant, namely Iba Mary Sun with a sharp weapon at New Nongstoin (WKH). As a result, the victim sustained grievous injuries. Police have arrested the accused.
Encroachment case
On October 23 at about 4.30 pm, a police patrolling party spotted one unidentified person at Galptuli Reserve Forest (WGH). On seeing the police, the person ran away and abandoned his SBML gun and a bag containing gunpowder and pellets. Matter is under enquiry.
