Sacred Heart win 4 events in Saipung tourney

SHILLONG: Sacred Heart Secondary School claimed four titles at the Inter School Tournament (Saipung Block), which concluded at Lamyrsiang playground in East Jaintia Hills District on Thursday.
A total of four disciplines were conducted for both boys and girls: handball, kho-kho, kabaddi and volleyball.
Sacred Heart Sec swept the volleyball events, while also finishing first in girls kabaddi and boys kho-kho.
Narwan Secondary School claimed both titles in handball and also in boys kabaddi.
Jalaphet Secondary School claimed the final trophy, that of girls kho-kho. The school also came runners-up in boys handball.
Lamyrsiang UP School finished second in girls handball, while Narwan Sec were runners-up in boys and girls kho-kho as well as girls kabaddi.
Sacred Heart ended second in boys kabaddi.
Mynthluh Sec School were unable to win any events, but finished second in boys and girls volleyball.
