I forgive them: Victim’s father By Our Reporter

SHILLONG: ‘Let God forgive them’ is all what JS Nandwal, the father of arson victim Vikash Nandwal, has to say about the miscreants, who attacked his son resulting in his death.

Nandwal, who is on his way to Haryana to attend the funeral of his son scheduled for Sunday, said over phone that he does not bear any grudge against anyone.

“They do not know what they have done, I hold no grudge against them and I forgive them”, Nandwal who lost his only son said.

He, however, called for the cooperation of all, starting from the Dorbar, to end the unrest which is affecting the people of the State.

While Nandwal came to Shillong in early 1970s, his wife was already settled in Shillong since 1955.
