Abducted coal labourer rescued

JOWAI: In a swift action Ladrymbai Police rescued a coal labourer with hours of his abduction on Sunday morning.

Police arrested five persons in this connection and seized the vehicle (ML04B 2920) used by the abductors.

Sources informed that one Hero Singh, working as coal labourer in a coalmine at Pamsghyndat near Rymbai area, was abducted by six persons.

Police swang into action immediately and rescued the victim from a place near Mulang Village in East Jaintia Hills District.
