Programme

The students of Martin Luther Christian University (MLCU), Department of Social Work, will organise a cultural programme ‘Our Culture is our identity’ at Cham, East Jaintia Hills District, on November 1 at 2 pm. The programme will be sponsored by the Indigenous Biodiversity and Social Welfare Organisation (IBSWO).

Training

The Disaster Management Authority, West Khasi Hills, organised a training programme as part of the National Day for Disaster Risk Reduction on Tuesday at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Nongstoin. The training was chaired by J Mawthow, ADPO, Nongstoin, and was attended by teachers, officers and students.

Foundation day

Meghalaya Agricultural Technical Govermment Employees Service Association (MATGESA) will celebrate its 33rd Foundation Day at Don Bosco Hall on Oct 30 at 12 noon.
