Puja greetings

The Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee has conveyed its greetings and best wishes to the people of Meghalaya on the occasion of the ‘Kali Puja and Diwali. While celebrating the triumph of good over evil, the Meghalaya PCC hopes that the occasion will usher in peace, foster brotherhood and bringing in harmony in the State where different religions co-exist in the spirit of love and respect.

Programme

Prasar Bharati (Programme Production Centre), Doodarshan, Guwahati will organise a 2nd death anniversary function of Dr Bhupen Hazarika, ‘Immortal Waves’ on November 5 at Shradhanjali Kanan, opposite State Zoo at Guwahati. Editor of The Shillong Times, Patricia Mukhim will inaugurate the function at 8pm which will be telecast Live in DD North East Channel.
