An actor lives his character and this holds true for the cast of thriller series “Supernatural” as well — Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles have firm belief when it comes to supernatural myths and don’t regard anything as a mere coincidence.
The show revolves around the lives of two brothers who follow their father’s footsteps and become hunters fighting supernatural forces. They are seen embarking on a new quest of defeating demons, monsters and evil spirits in every episode.
“I firmly believe that things happen for a reason. That may sound melodramatic, but I don’t believe that coincidence exists. And I also believe we’re not the only living creatures in this universe,” Padalecki told IANS in an e-mail interaction.
Although Ackles has not experienced any supernatural incident, he is open to the adventure.
“I wouldn’t call myself superstitious, but I do suspect there’s more between heaven and earth, even hell. I’m open to spiritual experiences, although I didn’t need any salt yet to ward off evil spirits from my home,” he said.
Padalecki came into the limelight with his show “Gilmore Girls” in 2000. He was also seen in movies like “Friday The 13th” and “House of Wax”. While Jensen Ackles, who plays his onscreen brother, has been a part of TV shows like “Days Of Our Life” and “Dark Angel”.
With the first season premiering in 2005, “Supernatural” is currently in its ninth season, being aired on AXN in India.
He further added that due to the procedures, which he has been a part of in the show, he is prepared for all supernatural incidents. (IANS)
