Cooking workshop
Chef de Shillong – a cooking skills workshop-cum-competition – organized by EduChanger, a skills development centre in Shillong will be conducted by Chef Jayanandan Bhaskar, first runner-up in Masterchef India Season 1 at Talents Club, Shillong from Nov 7-9.
Aqua Fest
Department of Fisheries will be holding Aqua Fest on November 6-7 on the State Library premises from 10 am.
Rally
Office of the SDPO (Sohra) will organise a Village Defence Party rally at Neng Gate, Pynursla on November 7 at 11 am. Representatives from all the villages under Pynursla police station are requested to participate in the rally.
Jamboree

Seminar
The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Shillong Campus, in association with Indian Council of Social Science Research, NERC; Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore; Indian Council of Social Science Research, Delhi and Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies will organise a three-day International Seminar on ‘Cultures of Memory: Mnemocultural Praxis in South, Southeast and Other Asian Countries’ from November 7-9 at EFL University, Shillong Campus. Governor Dr KK Paul will inaugurate the seminar on November 7 at 11 am at EFLU Shillong Campus.
