Children’s Day celebrations

SHILLONG: The students of Duncan Secondary School, Nongkseh, celebrated advance Children’s Day by visiting the North East India Mission Association (NEIMA) Orphanage and Poor Children’s Home at Laitmynrieng, Pynursla on November 9.

The children of the orphanage were actively involved in the celebration which included singing of hymns and participation in different games.

As part of NEIMA’s effort to organise a jumble sale and gospel concert to raise funds for separate hostel for boys and girls, the students of Duncan School contributed materials for the jumble sale and also presented play materials to the children of the orphanage.
