National Education Day observed

SHILLONG: North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong observed the National Educational Day on Monday commemorating the birth anniversary of India’s first Education Minister, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.

Delivering his speech in front of a large gathering of teachers and scholars from amongst the academia who attended the function, NEHU Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof B Myrboh paid rich tributes to the great visionary and educationist.

Prof. FA Qadri, Head of Department of History, gave a lecture on the life and contributions of Maulana Azad in a lucid and informative manner.
