NONGSTOIN: In view of the traffic congestion in Nongstoin town, the Office of the Superintendent of Police , West Khasi Hills, Nongstoin has notified that new traffic regulation and arrangements has been made in Nongstoin, where all Buses , Sumos, Tourist vehicles and other vehicles plying from Nongstoin to Shillong will park at the new parking lot Opposite Anderson School, Nongstoin and no vehicles will be allowed to park at the roadside in front of Anderson School, Upper New Nongstoin.
The SP also said that all Sumos, Tourist vehicles and Commercial Bolero Campers plying from Nongstoin to Shallang-Riangdo-Langpih-Langja and Maweit area and Commercial Auto Trucks will park at Khlieh-iew Nongstoin.
The above arrangement will come into effect from November 18 from 10:00 am.
