Rangbah Shnong clarifies on forged letter

SHILLONG: The Rangbah Shnong cum Treasurer of Laitumkhrah Dorbar Shnong Pyllun, GM Bruce Sawkmie has lodged an FIR with Laitumkhrah police stating that a few culprits wrote a forged letter in his name to the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi against the implementation of Inner Line Permit in the State.

On November 13 that the Chairman, Laitumkhrah Dorbar Shnong Pyllun SVB Nongdhar handed over the copy of the letter to Sawkmie.

Sawkmie wanted the police to investigate into the matter as the letter using his name which was written on September 14 involved important personalities as the copies of the letter were marked to ministers, officials and NGOs.

“I do not subscribe to any of the views in the letter “, Sawkmie said.
