New Delhi: Delhi Police filed a second charge sheet on Monday in the IPL spot-fixing case against alleged fixer Chandresh Jain alias Jupiter, and said he has links with underworld dons Dawood Ibrahim and Chhota Shakeel.
Dawood was identified as the kingpin of the IPL racket against whom non-bailable warrant has been issued.
Police said intercepted telephonic conversations revealed that the accused, Jupiter, was in constant touch with Salman alias Master, said to be associated with the underworld dons.
Police have also named 39 other accused who were charge-sheeted earlier in the case. Jain has also been charged with offences like cheating and conspiracy.
Cricketers S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan are among the 39 accused in the scandal related to the IPL-6 held earlier this year. (IANS)
