NONGSTOIN: Shallang Police in a joint operation with Guwahati Police Crime Unit on Thursday arrested one NDFB cadre at Songsak, Shallang. The arrested rebel has been identified as Dhanan Basumatary of Shimla, Bhaiguri PS, Assam. According to S.Nongtnger, SP, West Khasi Hills, Basumatri came to Shallang on a mission to track coal traders in Shallang for demanding money.
