Meeting
A meeting of the reconstituted Meghalaya State Audit Advisory Board was held recently under the chairmanship of Accountant General (Audit) Rajesh Singh. The main function of the Board is to advise the AG in matters relating to audit and suggest improvement in the performance and focus of audit within the framework of the constitution and statutory mandate.

The department of Philosophy, Lady Keane College in collaboration with Indian Council of Philosophical Research, New Delhi, Indian Council of Social Science research-New Delhi and Indian Council of Social Science research- NERC is organising a two-day international seminar on ‘;Ethnicity and Globalization: with reference to the communities of South Asia’ on December 4 and 5.

The urban mission of the KJP Synod Sepngi is organising awareness cum football match on November 30 from 9am onwards at Students’ Field, Jaiaw Langsning as part of the observation of the World AIDS Day which coincides on December 1.

The venue for the pre-Christmas service of the Shillong A’chik Believers Combine Fellowship is shifted to Anton Hall near Don Bosco Square, Laitumkhrah on December 1 at 11.30am from the U Soso Tham Hall due to unavoidable circumstances.
