SHILLONG: The Shillong Traffic Police has made a few traffic arrangements at Laitumkhrah in view of the ongoing Laitumkhrah Police Point beautification project implemented by PWD and MUDA.
This arrangement which caters to areas from Laitumkhrah Police Point towards Nazareth Hospital will be effective from December 2 till the completion of work.
According to the STP, vehicles coming from Goraline towards Laitumkhrah will not be allowed to proceed towards Nazareth Hospital but have to divert via Nongrim Road and exit towards Laitumkhrah PS. This stretch of road will be made one-way.
All local taxis parked at Laitumkhrah Police Point opposite JS Store will be shifted to Laitumkhrah Bazar parking lot and no parking will be allowed at Police point.
