In a hit and run case, a driver of a Maruti Alto sustained injury when the vehicle was hit by a truck on the main road near St. Edmund’s School. The driver was identified as Nathan Thangkhiew (28, M). The incident happened on Tuesday at 4:55 am.
A motorist who was learning to ride a gear-less motorbike collided with a pedestrian who was jogging on the side of the road near the Catholic Church at Nongrah on Tuesday at 6 pm. The motorist has been identified as Rupa Shiek (26, F) while the pedestrian was identified as Vicky Pyngrope (18, M).
