SHILLONG: A 16-year-old girl of Rilbong locality attempt to commit suicide by jumping from the roof top of her building on Monday afternoon.
Sources informed that the girl, a student of Loreto Convent, Shillong, attempted to take her own life after she failed in her selection examination.
According to sources, the girl is currently admitted at Woodland Hospital.
Sources also informed that the girl admitted before the police that she had attempted to commit suicide.
