Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma embarks on a hot-air balloon ride at the Extreme Adventure Sports Carnival being held as part of the Dimchrang Winter Festival in Ampati on Thursday. The three-day Dimchrang Winter Festival got underway in Ampati on Thursday morning with a grand carnival parade on cultural harmony which was flagged of by Chief Minister Dr Sangma at Ghasura junction, Ampati in the presence of the Parliamentary Secretary Ashahel D. Shira, Co-chairman, State Planning Board Fersen Ch. Momin, Deputy Commissioner, Ram Singh, other district officials and a large number of spectators.
