Run Meghalaya contingent in Delhi for half marathon

SHILLONG: Fourteen runners from Meghalaya have arrived in New Delhi to represent Meghalaya in the upcoming Delhi Half Marathon on December 15.
This initiative by Run Meghalaya, spearheaded by Gerald Pde, is to promote long distance running in the state and support local runners by giving them the opportunity to compete at international marathons.
The team: Jomsingstar Ramseij, Wanboklang Jyrwa, Stilin Jyrwa, Hamaroy Sohphoh, Kyntimon Marwein, Bandasharai Marwein and Dateibankynmaw Marwein from Mawkyrwat; Kynpham Swer from Lumparing; Pynshngainlang Dkhar from Madan Laban;  Badon Sing Tham and Amstarjohn Syiemiong from Mawlai; Okitlang Syiemlieh from Nongspung; Briksius Mawlong from Nongthliew.
