* A helper of a truck loaded with coal sustained injuries when the vehicle hit a wall on the side of the road at 4:04 P.M. Saturday. The incident happened on a curve on the Jowai by-pass road, West Jaintia Hills District. Borkas Dorjee (22) was injured and shifted to Jowai Civil Hospital.

* Two co-passengers of a Maruti 800 local taxi travelling towards Nongthymmai sustained injuries when the vehicle hit a wall on the side of the road after the driver lost control on a turning. Ghosal Sonar (16) and Kyrshan Khongwar (19) were injured in the incident. The incident happened at Jylli Shop, Nongthymmai on Friday night.

* A motorist and a pillion rider sustained injuries after they fell off from the motorbike when it went off road near the Orchid Restaurant at Thadlaskein, West Jaintia Hills. The incident happened on Friday. Raju Biswas (27) and Chicloi Biswas (24) received injuries in the incident.

* A pillion rider fell off from the motorbike and sustained serious injuries when the motorbike was hit from behind by another vehicle near NEEPCO Office at 4th Furlong, Shillong on Thursday night. The injured Rikrak C. Sangma (26) was admitted to Shillong Civil Hospital for treatment

In all cases, 108 Emergency Service Ambulances helped in taking the injured to their respective hospitals.
