SHILLONG: The NPP leader PA Sangma who is camping in Tura criticized the West Garo Hills district administration on Saturday for not being able to live up to the expectations of the people.
For the last three days, the district administration of West Garo Hills has not been functioning, Sangma alleged.
“The Deputy Commissioner is not in station and he is busy accompanying the Chief Minister wherever he goes. The Tura Deputy Commissioner is a sycophant as he accompanied the Chief Minister to Ampati, Williamnagar and Baghmara, leaving the station. We do not understand the necessity for him to accompany the Chief Minster wherever he goes,” Sangma said.
The people of Tura are disgusted over the absence of Deputy Commissioner, Sangma said.
