SHILLONG: After allegations that a girl was raped in a graveyard at Baghmara on the night of December 11, the South Garo Hills district administration on Monday clarified that it was a consensual act and that the girl is neither a minor nor mentally unstable.
South Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, Chinmay P Gotmare said that no FIR has been filed in this regard even as he informed that the girl has to go for a medical test if a case is registered.
There were reports that the girl was afflicted by epilepsy.
