MLCU NSS unit conducts advance X-mas

SHILLONG: The NSS Volunteers of the Information Sciences Department, Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong conducted an Advance Christmas Celebration on Tuesday with the Childline, Shillong. The event started with a Carol Singing with the children of Childline along with the volunteers.
The route for the carol singing was from Jiengkieng, Nongthymmai via St. Edmunds College, then to Dhankheti, Malki Point and Barik.
The carol ended in the MLCU Main Campus at IGP, Shillong. The event was followed by a short service after which the children from Childline played games, followed by songs, singing and dancing.
The day’s programme ended with the distribution of gifts from the NSS Volunteers.
