2 held, liquor seized

SHILLONG: The city police on Tuesday conducted raids in various parts of the city on the eve of New Year and seized huge quantity of liquor and arrested two persons.  East Khasi Hills SP M Kharkrang said that the police seized 27060 ml of liquor from Polo Bazar. Police also arrested one person identified as Dawa Polma Lama   from AC Lane, Police Bazar. Another  person identified as Metok Dolker was arrested from Barapathar  and 3855 ml of IMFL was seized from his possession.
