SHILLONG: The five-day North East National Service Scheme (NSS) Festival would be formally inaugurated by Governor Dr KK Paul at the State Central Library on Tuesday at 3.30 pm.
In a statement issued here on Monday, event member secretary H Iangrai informed that a total number of 350 National Service Scheme volunteers from various parts of the North Eastern states including Sikkim would participate in the Festival.
According to Iangrai, the Festival was earlier scheduled to be held in December last year; however, it was postponed due to the Inner Line Permit-related agitations in the State.
