NFU defeat Malki SC

SHILLONG: New Friends Union defeated Malki SC by 27 runs in a league match of the SCA Super Division Cricket League at the Cricket Ground, Polo, on Monday.
NFU made 198/9 in their 40 overs after winning the toss and choosing to bat.
Kalyan Bhattacharjee scored 46, with three fours, while Anil Upadhya took three wickets for 40 runs in eight overs.
In reply, Malki were all out for 171 in 37 overs.
Krishna Chettri made a half-century with four fours, while Lakhan Singh claimed three wickets for 32 runs in a full complement of eight overs.
In the next match, scheduled for Tuesday, Lumpyngngad SC will take on Lumdiengjri CC at 9:00am in a First Division match.
