The State Government has notified the draft list of socio economic and caste census 2011 along with the timeline for filling and disposal of claims and objections for the municipalities of Shillong, Jowai, Tura, Williamnagar, Baghmara, Resubelapara and Shillong Cantonment Board.

The list of successful candidates of the recruitment to the posts of UB group and AB group conducted by Central Recruitment Board of Meghalaya police have been approved by the Government.
