RUFC U-15 boys depart for Manchester United Premier Cup

SHILLONG: The Rangdajied United FC U-15 team departed for New Delhi on Monday to take part in the Manchester United Premier Cup 2014, it was announced through a club press release.

Sixteen boys from the Rangdajied United Youth Development side have been picked in the squad.

The team had a jersey unveiling programme at the JN Stadium, Polo, on Sunday where team officials wished the boys all the best for the tournament.

In the build-up for the Premier Cup, the youth team, in a friendly match, defeated the Shillong Lajong FC U-15 team 2-0 last week.

Mawlong, Dawanchwa Carlos Challam, Mebankhrawnam Marwein, Mewanpynshngain Kharsyntiew, Damebanbha Nongdhar, Nangteiboklang Kharsahnoh, Pynshngain Lyngdoh, Abedniko Kurbah, Maldini Sun, Banshemphang Kurbah, Joel Kodison, Nongrum, Badapkupar Kurbah

Officials: Dious Lapasam (coach), Arki Nongrum (manager), Deisngi Kurbah (assistant manager).
