NONGSTOIN: Former legislator Dr Adviser Pariong, who was defeated in the last Assembly elections, has decided to contest from Nongstoin in the KHADC polls.
Besides Pariong, Macmillan Kharbani was another aspirant for the ticket from Nongstoin and the duo applied for the party ticket on Tuesday.
Sources from the Block Congress Committee said that it has recommended the name of Dr Pariong as its official candidate from Nongstoin to district congress committee.
