The UDP District Election Committee, West Khasi Hills, has extended the last date of submission of applications for the MDC ticket to January 21.

The Meghalaya Upper Primary School Teachers’ Association has postponed the state-level Central Executive Committee (CEC) meet to January 20 to be held at the residence of general secretary Kenneth Shadap at Professor’s Colony, Kharmalki, Shillong, at 10 am. The CEC would elect its new office bearers and members for the year 2014-2017. District and sub-divisional units would submit their details report at the CEC meet.
