Run for Democracy route finalised

SHILLONG: The route for the Run for Democracy has been finalised and will start at State Central Library  here at 7:15am on January 25.
All participants are required to report at 6:00am to pick up their running numbers, t-shirts, etc.
Route for the above-15 years race: State Central Library – Dhanketi – Malki – St Edmund’s School – Fire Brigade – Jingkieng Nongthymmai – Upper Nongthymmai – Saw Lad – Madanriting – Fire Brigade – Beat House – Police Point – Don Bosco – St Anthony’s College – All India Radio – Raj Bhavan – YMCA – Wards Lake – Additional Secretariat – State Central Library
Route for the above-50 years & under-15 years race: State Central Library – Dhanketi – Malki – St Edmund’s School – Fire Brigade – Beat House – Police Point – Don Bosco – St Anthony’s College – All India Radio – Raj Bhavan – YMCA – Wards Lake – Additional Secretariat – State Central Library.
Twenty lucky draw prizes will be awarded to those who complete the run. Winners of the race will be given a cash prize and trophy.
