SHILLONG: The winners of the various Meghalaya Awards were officially announced on the occasion of Meghalaya Day which was commemorated in the city on Tuesday. The Tirot Sing Award for art and culture has been conferred on folklorist and composer Silbi Passah, Pa Togan Sangma Award for social service has been given to former IPS officer Skylance G Momin and Kiang Nangbah Award for outstanding achievement in the field of sports has been awarded to Wansuk Myrthong. Three awards, which comprises of a citation and a cash award, will be presented at a programme to be held later.
