SHILLONG: A clash between youth belonging to two communities occurred at Lapalang on Sunday.
According to police, on January 26 at around 4 pm, a clash took place between Khasi and Bihari youth at Lapalang in which two youth Raj Kumar (22) and a minor boy (17) sustained injuries. Police arrested Tenderly Thangkhiew (26), Faithfully Thangkhiew (28), Joplang Manner (18), Lestarboy Hyndai (20), Sony Lyngdoh (20), Raj Kumar (22) and a minor boy (17).
