SHILLONG: In its bid to spread a strong message against end to racial discrimination, Royal Enfield Riders’ Association of Meghalaya (RERAM) in collaboration with the Brotherhood of Bulleteers’ Motorcycling Consortium (BOBMC) will organise a rally with the theme ‘Bikers Against Racial Discrimination’ on February 8 at 1 pm from Polo Parking Lot.

Former president of the pioneer bullet gang RERAM, PS Warjri said, “We want to send a strong message to the people of mainland India to stop racial discrimination.”

RERAM has invited all two-wheeler riders to take part in the rally.

Warjri informed that the rally on February 8 will be observed across the country. Anukaran Singh of BOBMC will be monitoring the rally in the city.

“The reason why we have decided to hold the rally at 1 pm is because 1 pm symbolises being one,” Warjri said, adding, “We should learn ourselves and we need to set an example for people to follow and prove to the world that we are one.”

Warjri also informed that no rider would be allowed to join the rally midway.
