Pinewood win by 4 wickets

SHILLONG: Pinewood CC relied on an all-round performance from Deepak Thapa to beat Keating Road by four wickets in a First Division Cricket match at the Cricket Ground, Polo, on Wednesday morning.

Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Keating Road were all out for only 134 runs in 32.4 overs.

Rahul Thapa top-scored with 23, while Deepak took 3/23 in six overs.

In reply, Pinewood lost more than half their side, but reached the target in 30.3 overs for the loss of six wickets.

Deepak performed well with the bat as well, making 37 runs for his team. Syed Salman took 1/23 in seven overs.

In the next First Division fixture, Megha SC will play Lumdiengjri SC at 9:00am on Thursday.
