Skill fest to be held in Jowai

JOWAI: Thomas Jones Synod College, Jowai in association with the Deputy Commissioner’s Office and the Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT) Meghalaya will be organizing a Skill Fest Cum Workshop on February 12 from 9 am to 4 pm in the College Campus.
The aim of the programme is to create awareness among the unemployed youth of the District about Placement Guaranteed Vocational Training Courses available in institutions in Jowai, Shillong and other parts of Meghalaya. The Sectors in which these institutes provide training are Hospitality, Beauty & Wellness, IT/IT enabled Services, Health Care & Aviation, Tussle Crafting, Retail, Banking & Finance, Business & Commerce, Travel & Tourism, Fast Moving Consumer Goods and Security Services.
