Two-day strike

SHILLONG: Following the call given by the Confederation of Central Government Employees and Workers, New Delhi, Central Government employees in the State are set to observe a two-day strike on February 12 and 13.
The strike has been called to press the Central Government to settle the 15-point charter of demands which includes bringing into effect the 7th Central Pay Commission from January 1, 2014, grant of interim relief to Central Government employees and others.
In support of the strike, Central Government employees will hold a rally on February 13 at 12 noon at the Parking Lot (Opposite CTO Building) which will be followed by a procession.
