SHILLONG: The State Government has till date dispatched copies of 15 acts relating to influx out of a total of 52 to the pro-ILP pressure groups for their perusal.
“So far, we have sent copies of 15 of the Acts which we have compiled to the organisations. We would be sending copies of the remaining acts as soon as we compile them,” an official source informed here on Wednesday.
The official pointed out that the dispatch process is being delayed since compilation of 52 acts is a time taking exercise as most of the acts were in the form of bulky documents.
Earlier, the Political Affairs department had asked the pro-ILP pressure groups to provide the names of all the 52 acts which were sought by them during the January 15 meeting with the Government.
