“We urge the Police to arrest the JHADC Chief immediately. The law is equal to every one, no rich no poor, no high profile and no low profile, the Jowai Hills Police should prove that”, JYF president, P Majaw said.
Both the JYF and JSU have also condemned the AJYWO President for issuing a press release which is misleading (Contd in P-10)

In a release the AJYWO stated that it will follow up and investigate the matter and if it is found to be true, a strong action will be taken against the JHADC Chief.
“RTI is an act, the AJYWO chief should approach RTI activists of Khliehtyrshi and ask for a copy before he go to the press. He is not a police officer to investigate the case when every report in the media is based on RTI Report,” both the NGOs leaders said.
