SHILLONG: A lower court on Tuesday convicted a woman identified as L. Hmar for five months under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act for possession of heroin. Hmar was arrested on September 16. A police raid at Hmar’s residence at Madanriting recovered two grams of heroin.
