NSF and DNSU officials inspected the examination hall in both the districts, and discovered that the proposed recruitment was done ‘against a non-existent school in Chimonger, Tuensang.’ NSF informed that on questioning, the Managing Director of the welfare society, Sedongchem Sangtam disclosed that ‘they are yet to apply for the permission/recognition of this proposed school from the school education department.’
He also admitted to having contacted several students to offer him money if they want to be selected, NSF added. Apart from the examination fee, he has received Rs. 1,20,000, from one aspirant candidate till the time of conducting the fake interview, according to NSF.
It was informed that NSF and DNSU officials have stopped the recruitment process and have lodged an FIR.
It said that altogether 204 candidates have applied for the 10 Hindi post and 24 assistant teacher and IV grade staffs for the said recruitment.
For refund of examination fee (Rs .400), candidates based in Dimapur and other districts have been requested to collect from DNSU office from Monday to Friday. Candidates based in Kohima are requested to contact the federation office on Monday during office hour.
