SHILLONG: One Albert Jyrwa, accused of an attempt to murder case at Laitumkhrah Police Station assaulted two UTPs, Wanshailang Jana and Nimi Lama inside the Shillong Court lockup.
In the incident, Shailang Jana sustained injuries and was admitted at Civil Hospital, adding police said that they have registered a suo moto case against Albert Jyrwa for assaulting two UTPs.
Albert Jyrwa was arrested for allegedly trying to burn his wife and children and earlier he was involved in several cases of burglary.
