SHILLONG: One occupant of a truck died on the spot while the driver of the ill fated truck sustained serious injuries.
The incident happened on March 4, when one truck driven by Banteibor Khardewsaw (27) plunged into a deep gorge at Keniong village (South West Khasi Hills). The deceased occupant has been identified as Kyrshan Nongbri (18) who died on the spot. The driver who sustained injuries was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong for treatment.
