Silver jubilee
The Association of Taekwondo Martial Art (ATMA), Shillong, will celebrate its silver jubilee by organising various events and competitions including taekwondo, cricket, marathon, football and others.
Clarification
The Mawbah Dorbar Shnong has clarified that the fire incident which occurred at Barapathar Point in the wee hours of Tuesday does not fall under the jurisdiction of the Mawbah Dorbar Shnong.
Unclaimed body
Jaslin Shadap (33) who was admitted in Shillong Civil Hospital expired on March 5. The hospital authorities have asked the concerned relatives to collect the body within a period of three days.
Training
A one-day training cum awareness programme on ‘Protection of plant varieties and farmers’ Rights Act for the farmers and extension functionaries of the district agriculture office and district horticulture office was organised by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Jaintia Hills, at Thadlaskein on Tuesday.
