Headman accused of forging signatures

SHILLONG: The headman of Kyndong Wahlang has been accused of forging the signatures of Job Card holders under the NREGS.

A police complaint lodged by Simon Jarain Laban Police Station alleged that Dran Kharpuri, Starwell Ryntathiang, Headman of Kyndong Wahlang and four others cheated the villagers by forging their signatures.
