SHILLONG: Following up on the arrest of three newly-recruited HNLC cadres from Upper Shillong area on Thursday, East Khasi Hills Police on Friday night arrested one more person who had been assigned with the task of helping the new recruits to cross over to Bangladesh.
East Khasi Hills SP M Kharkrang informed that the arrested person has been identified as Paila Snaitang (38) from Balat Nongthymmai and he was arrested from Pyndemsohsaw village.
The four have been remanded to three days in police custody.
