SHILLONG: The two-day State level Science & Environmental Fair concluded here on Friday. Over 300 students from different C&RD blocks of the State participated in the event organized as part of the National Science Day.
The programme was inaugurated by Director,North Eastern Police Academy, A.K.Mathur. Speaking on the occasion, Mathur said that children must develop a scientific temper and beliefs and happenings should be verified scientifically.
Various activities like ‘fun with Maths’, ‘eco-garne’, open science quiz, extempore speech etc. were conducted on the occasion. A talk on disaster management was also delivered.
