Threat

Kymen Dhar lodged a complaint at Jowai PS that her son Richardson Dhar threatened her with dire consequences in her residence at Mulum village (WJH).

On March 17, Neelam Poudel of Bishnupur, Shillong, lodged a complaint at Rilbong BH that she was physically tortured and threatened by her husband Ankan Das and mother-in-law Deepti Das.

Assault

On March 16, Resubelpara Police arrested two persons namely Ronith Sangma (47) and Goodness G. Momin (27) in connection with an assault case under Mendipathar PS.

Donbok Robert Lyngdoh lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on March 16 around 9.30 pm, one Nathan A. Synnah (23) threatened him with dire consequences at Nongrymmaw, Laitumkhrah, Shillong. Police have arrested the accused.

On March 15 around 9.45 pm, unidentified miscreants assaulted one minor boy (11) at Mawiongrim, Shillong. As a result, he sustained injuries and was admitted at Civil Hospital Shillong.

Rape

A woman lodged a complaint at Rynjah PS that on March 16, one Pynbhalang Kharnaior raped her at Umpling Dongumbah, Shillong. Police arrested the accused and admitted him at Civil Hospital, Shillong.

Attempted murder

On March 13 around 7.30 pm Magender Shah stabbed Daniel Bamon with a sharp object at Lad Rymbai Datsimpein (EJH). The victim sustained injuries and was removed to CHC Khliehriat.

Jonesh Momin lodged a complaint at Mendipathar PS that on March 9, one Jim R. Marak assaulted him at Chidaret village (NGH).
